FIELD DAY
Field Day will take place on the last day of school, May 24th. PTSG is coordinating the events of the day, so please reach out to them directly if you would like to participate.
MAIN ENTRANCE CLOSED
The main entrance to the school is now closed for the remainder of the school year due construction of the new building. The main entrance will now be from the parking lot side of the breezeway. The 9th Street side will remain locked. Drop off and pick up will not change. Students will enter the building through the breezeway and then come to the hallway to wait to be dismissed to their classroom. The green security doors will be locked at 8:20 a.m. Parents will be able to enter the breezeway, but not enter the building. You will need to call the office to let us know what you need. If entrance to the school is required, you will need to wait until we can get someone to walk down and let you in. Because of this, we ask that visits to the school be kept to a minimum. Thank you for your patience and understanding.
INDY HONOR FLIGHT
Anthony Rader (brother-in-law of Pam Rader) has been selected to go on the Indy Honor Flight on May 20, 2023. He will be spending the day visiting WWII, Korean and Vietnam Memorials while visiting with other veterans. If you would like to show your appreciation for his service to our country, you may send him a thank you card to the following address:

UNIFORMS
Now is the time to order school uniforms for next year to ensure they arrive on time. Information from Schoolbelles was included in your registration packets. If you have any gently used items to donate, you may send them to school. If you are in need of something and would like to check the uniform room please contact the school office. Please check for proper skirt lengths and vest sizing. If you have items that your child has outgrown that you would like to donate, please send them into the school office. There are also dress code items available for anyone who wants them.

CLASS DOJO
Class Dojo is our primary means of communication between teachers and parents. Please make sure you are checking this daily! If you are not getting messages or cannot see the school story, please contact your child’s teacher or the office. Absence and tardies still need to be called into the office.
TARDIES & ABSENCES
Students need to be at school and on time each day. Students are counted Tardy if they arrive after the 8:15 a.m. bell. Students are counted Absent if they arrive after 9:00 a.m. Those with excessive tardies and absences will receive communication from Mrs. Struewing.
All absences are to be reported to the office at the start of the school day by calling 825-7951. Do not rely solely on texting or messaging the teacher or Dojo. Students with medical appointments are to bring a doctor/dentist note to the office when they return to school.
VOLUNTEERING - FIELD TRIPS
If you will be volunteering in the school or going on a field trip, you must have a completed Safe Parish training on file AND a completed background check through the program.
