The state of Indiana provides a partial tuition payment for eligible families who are enrolled at a school of the parent's choice by September 1 each school year. If there are more applicants for a grade level than there are seats available, a lottery will be held and/or a waiting list will determine which students may enroll. The amount of the scholarship is based on income and household size, as well as the schol district where the student resides. Click here for more information.
The Indiana Choice Scholarship program was established in 2011 to provide every Indiana student access to the school that best meets their learning needs. The Choice Scholarship program provides scholarships to qualified students to offset tuition costs at a non-public school of their choice.
There are two components in determining eligibility for a voucher.
Families must meet the income requirement of 300% of the federal Free or Reduced-Price School Meals (FRL):
